This file indicates the installation of any option, service pack or feature release and verifies the integrity of disk files by comparing their current CRCs and sizes with original values recorded during installation of the base software and any installed option, service pack or feature release. Please follow your local RA (return authorization) process to obtain revision B of the Empower 2 Multi Language On-Line Help, Waters part number The installation of any option, service pack or feature release is documented in the checksum.txt file on your Empower 2 computer.
Current users of FIGS (Empower 2 Multi Language On-Line Help) in the French and German languages will need to update their FIGS installation after installing FR3. Projects from Empower 2 FR3 are not backward compatible with Empower 2 projects or projects from Empower 2 with service packs/feature releases prior to FR3. Waters recommends that you back up all of your Empower 2 projects, library information, and/or database before installing this software.
